About this position
The position of team lead account manager is most often found in software companies, agencies or media companies. This role is responsible for a team of client success managers or account managers who support clients in the adoption of a solution, with cross sell and up sell assignments. Candidates with mastery of both these mechanisms and the ability to manage teams are the most sought after. Salaries vary depending on the size of the team and the volume of business handled. In international groups and large SMEs, pacakges remain at high levels, especially when the variable part of the salary is large. In startups, with equal responsibilities, the salaries observed are generally lower.
